Streghe Fluttuanti – Exhibition Catalogue

Streghe Fluttuanti is the exhibition catalogue documenting a series of artworks by Ardo Quaranta, published in 2022.

The volume collects a selection of paintings dedicated to the figure of the witch, explored as a suspended, symbolic, and timeless presence.

The title Streghe Fluttuanti (Floating Witches) refers to a condition of suspension: figures that do not belong entirely to the past nor to the present, neither fully condemned nor fully redeemed. These witches are not depicted as folkloric characters, but as visual presences hovering between history, memory, and imagination.
