Strigarum Arcana

Strigarum Arcana is an artistic tarot project by Ardo Quaranta, developed through a dialogue between tradition and contemporary illustration.

Starting from the study of the classical meanings of the Tarot, the artist has shaped a visual language in which the archetypes of the Major Arcana are reinterpreted with a strong symbolic and narrative identity.

The cards feature gold and silver foil details and Latin titles, a deliberate reference to the historical language through which the image of the witch was defined from the Renaissance onward.
